Other Characters Currently In-Game: This would be my first!
Character Name: Ciel Phantomhive. (His true first name is different, and unknown so far)
Series: Kuroshitsuji.
Age: 15. While very young, he's been through the horrors already, and has commited himself a myriad of awful crimes involving theft, lies, blackmail, manipulation, torture, murder, impersonation, and other such fun things.
From When?: Chapter 65. He would've been killed by a zombie (headcanoned, he does survive the attack in the series).
Inmate Justification: See the note about his age - he's an awful, twisted little man.
Arrival: Against their will.
Abilities/Powers: Other than being smart, meticulous and manipulative, he doesn't have any special abilities or skills. He does have a contract with the demon Sebastian, who is an uber godmod and sworn to his protection.
Inmate Information:
"Ciel" and his twin lived happily together with their parents as rich, privileged boys until a sudden attack on the twins' birthday, where nearly the entire staff and both their parents (and dog) were murdered. The twins themselves were kidapped and sold to a cult, where they suffered horrific tortures for months until the day where they were to be used as human sacrifices. Ciel's twin brother, who is the real "Ciel" actually, got killed by them. In the fury resulting from this, and thanks to his brother's soul opening the path for him, Ciel summons a demon. He orders the demon to kill everyone in the cult, and is finally freed.
He makes a pact with the demon, Sebastian, so he'll help him get his revenge on those who caused all of this, and takes his brother's name and identity as the eldest before returning home as the Earl of Phantomhive.
Years pass and Ciel & Sebastian recruit new staff for their mansion, various people with high skills in combat, through means of manipulation and lies.
Eventually Ciel goes through new different scenarios with Sebastian. A kidnapping by something akin to mafia, the Jack the Ripper case, a murder mystery, a mysterious circus they join, and lastly a voyage in a ship full of zombies. In all of these scenarios, generally for Ciel's protection, Sebastian ends up killing most of the people involved, under Ciel's orders. They've also inevitably lied to everyone involved, given Ciel's identity and his bonds to his staff. Throughout these events, one'd think it'd be the dark demon guiding Ciel into a path of crime, but it's Ciel the vengeful using Sebastian as his tool.
In terms of personality, Ciel's incredibly driven by ambition. He was the sickly, "spare" twin who wasn't to inherit the family's job and important status like his brother would, something he managed until the day it was all stolen away from them. He decided to live for his brother's sake and so he'd become someone worthy of the title of Earl. He gains actual power via Sebastian, but he also becomes more determined, ruthless, and focused on his aim for revenge. His deception of everyone around him means he can't afford to get involved with others, so he keeps his distance emotionally even with his own fianceé (who was to be his brother's bride). Even when he occasionally lives through happier moments, he never gives up on his goal.
Path to Redemption: I'd say the main thing Ciel needs to change is how little he values other people. Stuck in his revenge path, and as the head of his sketchy family whose job is to remove nuisances for the crown, he'll have little trouble using, manipulating and hurting others as long as it's useful or benefitial to him.
Despite this, there have been some people who can get through to him and who he cares about despite himself - his fianceé Lizzy, his house staff, and his friends Soma and Agni. He wouldn't even refer to them as friends, but they do about him. The way these people have managed to make an impact on him is via sheer force - they are all bubbly, cheerful, aggressively happy people who will hug and cuddle Ciel and shower him with affection and appreciation even when he tries to reject it.
One could say even Sebastian's made a bit of a similar impact on him, although their bond is less than friendly. Sebastian has served him faithfully and so Ciel knows he can rely on him, even if he can't fully trust him.
Ciel should also learn to value himself as a person, and be able to see a potential future for himself. He's currently completely set on his path for revenge, and he's perfectly fine with giving up his soul to Sebastian and dying once he's done.
In terms of milestones and such, I'd say creating genuine bonds with others (so basically, making friends) and resorting less easily to murder as a solution to everything would be a good start.
